These Terms of Service govern your use of the Pro Flooring Co website and the flooring installation services we provide. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to these terms.

1. Our Services

Pro Flooring Co provides professional flooring installation, removal, and related services throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Services include hardwood flooring installation, vinyl plank (LVP) installation, laminate flooring installation, engineered hardwood installation, flooring removal, and subfloor preparation and repair.

All services are subject to a written estimate agreed upon before work begins. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.

2. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes provided through our website or over the phone are estimates only and are not binding until a written agreement is signed by both parties. Final pricing may change following an in-person site assessment, particularly if subfloor conditions, room dimensions, or material requirements differ from initial information provided.

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise noted.

3. Deposits and Payment

A deposit may be required to secure your installation date. The deposit amount and payment terms will be outlined in your written agreement. Remaining balances are due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Accepted payment methods include cash, e-transfer, and major credit cards. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as outlined in your agreement.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before a scheduled installation date will receive a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations within 72 hours may forfeit the deposit. Rescheduling requests are accommodated when possible and subject to availability.

5. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth installation, customers are responsible for:

  • Clearing the installation area of furniture and personal belongings prior to our arrival (unless furniture moving is included in your quote)
  • Ensuring the space is accessible and free of hazards
  • Providing accurate measurements and room information when requesting a quote
  • Disclosing any known subfloor issues, moisture problems, or structural concerns
  • Ensuring flooring materials are on-site and acclimated (if required) prior to installation

6. Warranty

Pro Flooring Co warrants our installation workmanship for a period of one year from the date of project completion. This warranty covers defects in installation quality, including issues with fastening, gapping beyond acceptable tolerances, and other workmanship-related concerns.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper cleaning, excessive moisture, structural movement of the building, normal wear and tear, or issues arising from manufacturer defects in flooring materials. Material warranties are governed by the respective manufacturer.

7. Limitation of Liability

Pro Flooring Co's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of use, business interruption, or loss of profits.

8. Website Use

The content on our website is provided for informational purposes only. Pricing ranges, timelines, and other estimates are approximate and based on typical projects. Actual costs and timelines vary by project. We make no guarantee that website content is always current, complete, or error-free.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
