Pro Flooring Co started in 2009 with one crew and one commitment: show up when we say we will and do the install right the first time. The GTA flooring market was full of contractors who overpromised and underdelivered. We built our business by doing the opposite.
In 2009, our founder started Pro Flooring Co with a single installation crew and a straightforward philosophy: treat every homeowner's house like it's your own, charge what you quote, and show up when you say you will. It sounds basic — and it is — but it's surprisingly rare in the flooring trades.
That first year, we completed around 30 installations, mostly referrals from neighbours and friends in Scarborough and North York. Word got around fast that here was a flooring crew that showed up, communicated clearly, and left the job site cleaner than they found it.
Today, we have completed over 500 flooring projects across the Greater Toronto Area — from downtown Toronto condos and Scarborough bungalows to Brampton family homes and Mississauga townhomes. Our 4.9-star Google rating reflects 15+ years of consistency.
We specialize in hardwood flooring installation, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, and engineered hardwood — and we handle every stage of the project, from old floor removal and subfloor inspection to the final cleanup.
Our installers are certified professionals who have worked across hundreds of GTA homes. This isn't a side hustle or a crew assembled project-by-project. This is the team we've built and trained over 15 years, and they bring the same standard of work to every job regardless of size.
Most of our business still comes from referrals. That's the result that comes from 15 years of doing exactly what we said we'd do, at the price we quoted, and leaving people's homes better than we found them.
We're not going to tell you we're "the best" and leave it at that. Here's exactly what we do differently — and why it matters to you as a homeowner.
One of our most consistent Google reviews mentions this specifically: “They were the only company that actually showed up on time.” We know your time has value. We confirm your appointment the day before, we arrive within the stated window, and if something changes, we call you — we don't ghost you.
Before we touch a board, we lay protective film on staircases, cover adjacent surfaces, and set up dust containment in work areas. When we leave, we haul away all debris, vacuum the new floor, and do a final walkthrough with you. Your home doesn't get trashed in the process of improving it.
Another recurring theme in our reviews: "The price was exactly what they quoted — no surprises on the final bill." We assess your subfloor conditions before we quote. If we see a problem, we tell you upfront and include it in the estimate. We do not pull up your old floor and then spring additional charges on you.
Every installation comes with a one-year workmanship guarantee. If something we installed isn't right — gapping issues, fastening problems, anything related to our work — we come back and make it right. We're easy to reach and responsive when clients have follow-up questions or concerns.
Being WSIB-compliant and fully insured isn't just a checkbox for us — it's direct protection for you as a homeowner. Here's what it actually means.
WSIB coverage means that if one of our workers is injured during your installation, they are fully covered by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. Without WSIB, an injured worker could potentially make a claim against your home insurance or pursue you as the property owner. With WSIB, you're protected.
Liability insurance means that if our installation causes accidental damage to your property — a wall, a baseboard, a cabinet — our insurance covers the repair. You don't absorb the cost of someone else's mistake.
Many flooring contractors in the GTA operate without WSIB clearance or carry minimal insurance. We don't. We can provide our WSIB clearance certificate and proof of liability coverage on request before any work begins.
We install hardwood, LVP, laminate, and engineered hardwood across the full Greater Toronto Area — from downtown Toronto and Scarborough to Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Oakville, Burlington, and beyond.
There are no travel fees anywhere in the GTA. Whether your home is a high-rise condo in the Financial District or a detached house in Springdale, Brampton, you get the same certified team, the same installation quality, and the same firm pricing.
We've worked in GTA homes of every era — Victorian-era houses in the Annex, post-war bungalows in Scarborough, 90s-era Brampton subdivisions, newer condo towers near Square One in Mississauga, and everything in between. We know what each building type typically requires.
Free in-home estimates across Toronto and the GTA. No obligation, no pressure — just a firm price for your project, delivered after we've seen the space.
